Here is a wise message from the spirit of my maternal grandmother, Dorothy, in reference to her arrival in the light realm following her death:
Grandma: Because I love everyone, it has been easier to accept what they’re teaching me. Someone who has not been friendly in their life does not have the wherewithal to believe these kinds of teachings here (in Heaven). They are based on kindness and love and free agency—something few of us learn on Earth. So be mindful of your kindness toward others, it’s important. . . . Be careful to always appreciate the people in your life that you may become wiser in their friendship and in their life; to help them and help steer them in the right direction. Be mindful of the lasting impression you have on people—it is great and can take the place of their own wisdom sometimes. These are things I’ve learned so far while here. And many others. I love you, sweetie.
She then describes what my Grandpa (her husband) is doing to help me from the other side:
Be listening for his help (whisperings) as he reminds you of what’s coming up in your schedule. This way he can give you requirements that you can use to get ready for the task. Be ready for what’s coming up. It’s funny how we disregard those whisperings we hear in our mind. We think they are only our own head. But they’re not—they’re whisperings from heavenly beings whose efforts are supposed to help us. They’re meant to help move us forward, but we ignore them often. We listen only to those whose voices are in the room with us, or over the phone; no one else. Isn’t that strange? Why wouldn’t we become smart to understand we’re only going through what’s happening because we haven’t yet figured out how to do it right? It’s help we could use, and we’re not accepting that help. It’s so interesting how we ignore this help. It bothers me now that I know about it. It didn’t used to bother me because I didn’t know or understand that voice was from God. I didn’t know much about God at the time, but He’s here with all of us, and with you, sweetheart.
